Its a great time to acknowledge that this year is ending as they all do. But unlike years past I only wish it would end sooner. Personally, this year has sucked and for most Americans and really most people in the world...2008 sucked ass. 2006 was great...I had graduated from undergrad and enter grad school. Was still in a city with people that I loved. Had interesting experiences and while Bush was still president the country was not yet in the shitter. Oh and the democrates won the Senate but they were lead by Nancy and that other liberal congressmen, so it was lackluster. 2007 was...lets just say damn good. I end up overseas and wished that year away in Hong Kong. But right after that event, 2008 started shitting on everything. I flew back to Alabama and have been stuck here every since. And while I have produced some things the economy has forced my hand to stay in a dull uneventful position. Among all other things, stocks have been crude, pay has been low, and people are being kicked out of their homes. I won't miss it and goodbye 2008. I know I won't post again until after the New Year and I am sure I will be drunk as it comes end so be good and hope for a better year.
